Russian romance
This is an observation of a person in a state of everyday life. The project captures moments in which life does not unfold as an event, but continues as presence: in walking, resting, waiting, in being alongside space rather than inside action.
The subjects of these photographs exist within reality without commentary or explanation. They are neither opposed to their environment nor merged with it — instead, they remain in a fragile balance. Space neither oppresses nor supports; it simply exists as a given. The romantic dimension here is stripped of elevation and illusion. It reveals itself in the ability to endure everyday life, to find pauses and brief forms of rest, to preserve bodily and human presence within an ordinary, often tense reality.
The project does not offer interpretations or conclusions. It records a state in which, despite fatigue, uncertainty, and inner tension, life continues without gestures or declarations.
